Day 10 summer gratitude journal – look how far you’ve come

Something that has always prevented me from committing to something like a gratitude challenge is the knowledge that habits are very hard for me to make and once something feels like a chore or that it interferes with me engaging in my day to day life, I quit. Because of this I made the rule with myself that 30 days can be over a longer period of time if I feel like completing it is overwhelming. If you’re checking the dates of when I posted this, you can tell I missed a week + of my challenge. I had a gorgeous weekend trip and then a week of working at an Occupational therapy summer camp and then a chill weekend reading , so I had lots of moments to reflect on my gratitude just away from writing it down 🩷 and now I’m black and looking forward to more wonderful adventures!

I shared a link to my video I shared below, but here are the journal prompts written out:

  1. I am grateful for ______ because ______
  2. Something I am looking forward to today/tomorrow/this week is __________
  3. Something that is happening today that you never could have imagined 5 years ago (positive)

I’m committing to finishing the 30 days but also acknowledging I’m sure this won’t be the first time I miss a chunk of days! So hopefully this reaches whoever may enjoy a long 30 day challenge!

Thank you for joining along! 🙂

If you click here it will take you to the larger gratitude journal post where you can catch up and follow along with the rest of the challenge 🙂
