It’s day 8 of my 30 day gratitude journal challenge, and today I was filled with a lot of love and gratitude for the people around me but also for the life that I have been working very hard to build. I have started randomly choosing journal prompts for the third question of the day, and it just happened coincidentally that it was on theme for my gratitude today. I wanted to bring a reminder to this post that sometimes the questions can be overwhelming if you are not having a great day, but this is the purpose of creating the practice. Hopefully you can write one thing you are grateful for, even if it is a small thing you take for granted, and modify as you need! If question 3 today is too big, maybe save it for another day to reflect on and just focus on the small positives you can dig out from this day 🙂 All the best, sending love!

I shared a link to my video I shared below, but here are the journal prompts written out:
- I am grateful for ______ because ______
- Something I am looking forward to today/tomorrow/this week is __________
- What is something that has been a positive change in your life in the past year?
Something that has been positive for me in the past year is my change of job. I was working in a day program for a long while and sadly it became a toxic workplace, pushing me to find a new place to go. If you asked me this time last year if I would be running my own business and working totally privately as an Occupational therapist I would not have believed you, yet here I am! I am working hard but loving the flexibility of being on my own and being able to manage my time, practice as my truest self where I can meet clients where they need me to be and have more free time in my day to do the things I love and feel organized. This has definitely been a tough change and a very big leap, but such a positive direction! And now I can make more time for this blog too!
Thank you for joining along! 🙂
If you click here it will take you to the larger gratitude journal post where you can catch up and follow along with the rest of the challenge 🙂
