Autism Parenting Summit – FREE resource

This is going to be a shorter blog post than usual, as I just wanted to share a couple resources that I have come across recently that I think are super beneficial for parents with autistic children! Of course, if you usually read my blog coming from more of a professional side where you are working with clients with autism, this may be beneficial for you as well (that’s how I came to find them!)

This morning I came across the yearly email I get for the Autism Parenting Summit and I thought “Oh my goodness how can I share this with all my clients’ parents?”… which is tough since I don’t have EVERYONE’s contacts, but hopefully through this post I can get through to at least one person who might benefit from these links! So below is the embedded link to the Autism Parenting summit. This is a FREE summit you can sign up for, it is virtual and there are loads of different professionals speaking! It runs from October 13 – 16, 2023, with sessions running between 9-5 each day. When you sign up, there is a paid option that pops up afterwards – note that you do not need to pay to get the benefits of this summit, paying only gives you access to the recorded sessions after the live event is completed!

I found it great to hear from other professionals about their experiences working with autistic clients, as well as from people with lived experiences either having autism or parenting a child with autism.

Below is the blurb from the website explaining what topics will be covered as well as a link to the summit schedule with presenters’ names and titles of their talks.
